New Server
GovChat has moved to a more reliable server, which will fix the problems we've had in the past with downtime and bad lag. If you have any problems using GovChat, please contact an op.
New Op
We're excited to announce Jon (RedSoxRole) as our new chat op on GovChat. Jon has been a longtime chatter and we're looking forward to working with him.
GovChat Status Page
GovChat now has a status page on it's site. Right now it's being tested and improved, so don't rely on the status to tell you if GovChat is up or not.
Java Client Change
The java client that GovChat uses has moved to a much faster server. The client now loads in a sliver of the time it used to, which leaves you more time to chat!
New Ops and Updated Site
GovChat is excited to welcome two new ops to the Chat team - Maverick and r0d_lilje. Each have been long time members of GovChat and are active participants. Remember- the ops aren't out to ban you, they're there to help you.
New Site Design
GovChat's site has been completely redesigned. We think things are a bit more organized. If you find any problems with the website, please contact Sorrento on chat or by PM.
New Chat Op
Chat now has a new operator, Kevin. He has been a long time member of chat and we're happy to welcome him to the chat team! Remember, the ops are out to help you, not kill or ban you!
